Steps
- DirectAdmin → E-mail Manager → E-mail Accounts
- Click Create Account
- Fill in:
- Username: email prefix (e.g., "info" for info@domain.com)
- Password: Create or generate
- Quota: Storage limit (MB)
- Send Limit: Emails per hour
- Click Create Account
Default Settings
- Quota: 100 MB (increase as needed)
- Send Limit: 200/hour
After Creation
Save these details:
- Email address
- Password (won't be shown again)
- Webmail: yourdomain.com:2096
Email Client Settings
- IMAP: mail.yourdomain.com:993 (SSL)
- SMTP: mail.yourdomain.com:587 (TLS)
- Username: Full email address
Common Tasks
- Change password: Click email → Change Password
- Increase quota: Click email → Modify
- Setup forwarding: Email Forwarders section
- Access webmail: https://yourdomain.com:2096
