Change the password for an existing email account in DirectAdmin.
Steps

E-mail Manager → E-mail Accounts

Find your email account. Click the + icon next to it.

Select Change Password/Username

Enter new password or use the password generator

Click Save
Important: The system displays the new password once. Copy it immediately - you won't see it again.
After Changing
Update the password in:
- Email clients (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail)
- Phone/tablet mail apps
- Webmail bookmarks
Common Issues
Can't find the + icon
- Make sure you're in E-mail Accounts, not Email Forwarders
- The account must already exist (this doesn't create new accounts)
Password generator missing
- Enter your own password manually
- Requirements: 8+ characters, mix of letters/numbers recommended
Save button does nothing
- Password may be too weak
- Try including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
