How to Remove a Site Redirection in DirectAdmin

Follow these steps to remove an existing site redirection from your DirectAdmin account:

  1. Access DirectAdmin

    Log in to your DirectAdmin control panel using your account credentials.

  2. Navigate to Site Redirection

    In the Account Manager section:

    • Click on the Site Redirection icon, or
    • Type "Site Redirection" in the navigation filter box and select the option when it appears.
  3. Locate the Redirect to Remove

    In the list of existing redirects:

    • Find the redirect entry you want to remove under the "Local URL Path" column.
    • Review the corresponding "Destination URL" to ensure you're selecting the correct redirect.
  4. Delete the Redirect

    To remove the selected redirect:

    1. Click on the "Delete" button next to the redirect entry.
    2. A confirmation dialog will appear. Read the warning message carefully.
    3. If you're sure you want to proceed, click "Delete" again in the confirmation dialog.

After completing these steps, the selected redirect will be permanently removed from your site configuration.

Important:

Deleting a redirect is irreversible. Make sure you're removing the correct redirect to avoid unintended consequences for your website's accessibility and SEO.
