Set different PHP versions for individual websites in DirectAdmin.
Steps

Domain Management → Click your domain

Click Modify Domain

Click PHP Version Selector (near the top, next to ModSecurity)

Select the PHP version you need

Click Save
Available Versions
Common options include:
- PHP 7.4 (older WordPress sites)
- PHP 8.0 (stable, widely supported)
- PHP 8.1+ (newer features, check compatibility)
After Changing
- Clear browser cache
- Test your website thoroughly
- Check error logs if issues appear
Common Issues
PHP Version Selector missing
- Not all hosting plans include this feature
- Contact support to enable it
Website shows errors after change
- Revert to previous PHP version
- Update your CMS/plugins to support newer PHP
- Check error logs: System Info & Files → Log Viewer
Changes don't take effect
- Wait 1-2 minutes for changes to propagate
- Clear all caches (browser, CDN, site cache)
- Try incognito/private browsing mode
